Where to eat in Brussels? 5 location recommendations

I think it was finally time to start putting restaurant recommendations on this blog!

Here is a list of 5 places that I discovered this summer and for those who follow me on Instagram (@ the.christianista), in highlight there is a section called "f & d" where you can find the addresses of several restaurants I have been to. And generally, the prices are very affordable for all the restaurants I offer. Here is the list I offer you after my summer:

1. Afrosian

The best of my summer. I liked it TOO MUCH, I've been wanting to test it for over a year now, but for some reason I haven't been there until this summer.

The space is small but well laid out, good atmosphere. For my dish, I had an Afro dish, what I particularly liked was this touch of Asian cuisine that I could find in my basic Afro dish, and it was just perfect. Hence the name of the restaurant I guess …  And that's not to mention their cockails, you really get what you pay for and your thirst! Really great!

The photos above were taken from their Instagram page.

2. Tigermilk

Restaurant that I had spotted during confinement, it was on my list of restaurants to try. This is a Latino America restaurant, also located in Paris. The place is beautiful and very cozy, namely that I generally choose my restaurants according to the beauty of the place … I had a "Superbowl" there and nothing to say, it was super good and even filling. I will go back there!

3. Frank

This one was not on my list, it was offered to me and I liked it so much. If I could literally start all of my days there I would! Because it's more of a place for breakfast, brunch or just a coffee.

It is located in Brussels, not far from the Central station. We had eaten on the terrace but I can assure you that the interior design is magnificent! Besides, I have recommended this place a lot and so far I have only had positive feedback.

4. Kicoucou

I had seen it so much in several stories so I decided to put it on my list of restaurants to try. I went there and liked it a lot! This is an African restaurant that I recommend 3000% to you, especially since the menu is varied, there is a lot of choice!

I had a burger at Ntaba, I don't know which one, but it was delicious. Not to mention the drinks with the different flavors they offer!

I hadn't taken a picture of what I had eaten, only videos. But I will not hesitate to add a photo to this article once I return!

And I suggest you consult their site here: https://kicoucou.be/

5. Grand Central

I didn't know him and didn't have him on my list, I found myself there because I was scheduled to meet. And I liked it so much that I went back there a second time in the month. Very large, friendly space, not only a restaurant but also a bar, I really liked the summer atmosphere that emanated there. The two times I've been there, I've had a drink and ate fries. I haven't looked through their entire map yet, but I will!

However, they do not offer straws with their drinks.

Here it is, do not hesitate to give me a feedback if you ever test these places 🙂
